    Boğaziçi University Landscape Project

    The square that meets us at the entrance to Kandilli Observatory is located on an area of about 9000 m2. Science and Technology Center, TETAM, Earthquake Engineering and Earthquake Preparation Centers are located on the territory of this square. There is also a solar tower in the very centre of the square.

    As well as in other campuses of Boğaziçi University, it was very important to keep a unique identity of the square. So we made Kandilli Campus landscape and Square Design projects accordingly. It was also crucial for us not to destroy open and natural areas of the territory.

    Walking paths compatible with natural transit lines and convenient for human circulation; parking slots able to fit in as many visitors as possible, recreation areas, campus meeting point and the square are designed in accordance with the identity of the area.
